This policy explains what information Zeila Co. ("we", "us") collects when you use zeila.co.ke, and how it's used. We keep this simple: we collect the minimum needed to process your order and run the shop.

Information we collect

• Delivery details you type in at checkout — your delivery address and phone number. These are saved with your order so we can deliver it and contact you about it.
• Cart contents — the items you add to your cart are saved in your browser's local storage so your cart persists between visits. This stays on your device and isn't sent to us until you check out.
• Order messages — when you tap "Pay with M-Pesa," your order details (items, delivery address, phone number and amount) are saved in our order database, and the payment request is processed through KCB Bank and Safaricom M-Pesa.

What we don't do

• We don't run analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
• We don't collect payment card details — payments are made through M-Pesa, so your M-Pesa PIN is entered on your own phone and never reaches us.
• We don't sell or share your information with third parties for marketing.

Service providers

Our product catalogue (items, prices, categories, coupon codes) is served from Supabase, our database provider. Browsing the catalogue doesn't send any personal information to Supabase — it's a one-way read of product data to your browser.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us using the details below. We don't keep customer accounts; what we hold is your order records (items, delivery address, phone number and M-Pesa reference).

Children

This site is intended for general audiences and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and change the date above.
